Directorate of Energy Himachal Pradesh Apprenticeship Training 2026: Directorate of Energy, Government of Himachal Pradesh has released a notification for Apprenticeship Training 2026 under the Himachal Pradesh Power Sector Development Program, aided by the World Bank. The apprenticeship is specifically for female candidates and will be for a period of one year.
A total of 30 apprenticeship seats are available across Electrical, Civil, Human Resource, Environment, Law, IT/Computer Science, and Finance/Accounts disciplines. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300.

Gender
Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship training. The notification also provides preference, up to 80% of the vacancy, to bona fide residents of Himachal Pradesh.
Age Limit
The candidate must be:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age calculated as on: 01 January 2026
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD candidates.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of:
₹12,300/- per month
The apprenticeship training duration is one year.
Selection Process
There will be no interview for selection.
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted through a merit list based on marks obtained in Matriculation, 10+2/Diploma and the essential qualification for the concerned trade.

- Select and mention only one Trade/Discipline.
- Fill in the applicant’s name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth.
- Enter your active email ID and mobile number.
- Provide details regarding age relaxation, if applicable.
- Mention whether you are a Bonafide Himachali.
- Enter complete educational qualification details.
- Affix the latest self-attested passport-size photograph with white background.
- Fill in the correspondence and permanent address.
- Sign the declaration.
- Attach/upload the required educational and category documents.
- Submit the completed application through the prescribed email address.
