UKSSSC Selection Process 2026

The selection process will be conducted in two stages.

Stage 1 – Written Competitive Examination

The first stage is an offline objective-type multiple-choice written examination.

According to the notification:

• The written examination will carry 400 marks.
• The duration will be 2 hours.
• Questions will be related to the educational qualification prescribed for the concerned post.
• The detailed syllabus is available through the Commission’s website.
• Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for Unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates.
• SC/ST candidates require 35% minimum qualifying marks.

Stage 2 – Typing/Shorthand Test

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in the written examination. The notification states that candidates up to four times the number of vacancies will be called for the qualifying typing and/or shorthand examination, as applicable to the post.
