HPRCA CBSE Teacher Salary 2026
Candidates selected under this recruitment will receive a fixed honorarium of ₹30,000 per month.
Important salary-related details:
- Fixed honorarium: ₹30,000 per month.
- Payment period: 10 months in an academic year.
- Engagement period: Five years.
- The appointments are scheme-based and temporary.
- These engagements are not against sanctioned posts.
- There will be no right to regularization against vacant sanctioned posts of the Education Department.
The engagement will be governed by the respective schemes mentioned in the recruitment notification. These teachers will not be treated as regular Government employees.
HPRCA CBSE Teacher Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications differ according to the teaching subject. Candidates must fulfil the essential qualification prescribed for the particular post code.
1. English Teacher – Post Code 26046
- M.A./M.Sc. English.
- B.Ed. (B.A. B.Ed./B.Com. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. are eligible), with English as a compulsory subject in B.Ed.
- Minimum 50% marks in Graduation, including B.Ed.
- At least 55% marks in English at Graduation level.
- Must have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HPBOSE Dharamshala or another agency authorized by the Government.
For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the notification specifies 45% marks in Graduation and B.Ed. and 50% marks in English at Graduation level.
2. Mathematics Teacher – Post Code 26047
- M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics.
- B.Ed. (B.A. B.Ed./B.Com. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. are eligible), with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in B.Ed.
- Minimum 50% marks in Graduation, including B.Ed.
- At least 55% marks in Mathematics at Graduation level.
- Must have qualified TET conducted by HPBOSE Dharamshala or another Government-authorized agency.
For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the notification specifies 45% marks in Graduation and B.Ed. and 50% marks in Mathematics at Graduation level.
3. Hindi, Political Science, History, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Sanskrit Teachers
Candidates applying for these teaching subjects must generally possess:
- A Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Qualified Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HPBOSE Dharamshala or another agency authorized by the Government.
- Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English.

- B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 50% marks.
- B.E./B.Tech. in any stream along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Technology/Applications with at least 50% marks.
- M.Sc. Computer Science/MCA with at least 50% marks.
- Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics/Physics along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Applications with at least 50% marks.
- DOEACC Society ‘B’ or ‘C’ Level course with at least 50% marks.
Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English is also required.
5. Music Teacher – Post Code 26057
- Master’s Degree in Vocal/Instrumental from a recognized University.
- At least 50% marks in aggregate.
- B.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- Qualified TET.
- Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English.
6. Commerce Teacher – Post Code 26058
- Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
- Eligible subjects include Accountancy, Financial Accountancy and Income Tax/MFC (Master of Finance Control).
- B.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- Qualified TET.
- Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English.
7. Physical Education Teacher – Post Code 26059
Candidates must possess the prescribed Physical Education qualifications, including the applicable B.P.Ed./BPE/B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education and Sports degree/diploma combinations, together with the required M.P.Ed./M.A. Physical Education qualification.
