HP TET Selection Process
Selection is based purely on your written exam score — there’s no interview involved:
- Appear for the Written Exam (TET Paper).
- Result is declared once minimum qualifying marks are checked.
- If you pass, HPBOSE issues a TET Certificate (valid for a lifetime), which you can use later while applying for teaching posts.
HP TET Admit Card & Result
- Admit card is downloadable from the website 4 days before the exam — it won’t be sent by post or email.
- Carry your Admit Card along with Aadhaar/Photo ID to the exam.
- The provisional answer key will be published online, and you get 6 days to raise objections.
- Evaluation is done via OMR, so there’s no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation.
- Mark-sheets and certificates will be available on DigiLocker within 1 week of the result.
How to Apply for HP TET November 2026 ?
The process is fairly straightforward — just follow these steps:

- Enter your Date of Birth, mobile number, and an active email ID.
- Upload your Photograph (JPG, under 20 KB) and Signature (JPG, under 15 KB).
- Pay the fee through the payment gateway.
- Tick the declaration box and submit the form.
- Print the confirmation page and keep it safe — you don’t need to send it to the Board.
Remember: Your Application Number acts as your login ID, and your Date of Birth as the password.
