CPCB Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
1. Scientist-D
Candidates should have a First Class Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Natural Science or a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Energy & Environment or Biotechnology.
Candidates must also meet the prescribed publication/book/technical report criteria and have 7 years of relevant practical experience in areas such as river pollution, industrial pollution, sewage management and environmental management.
2. Scientist-C
Candidates should possess a First Class Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Natural Science or a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in the prescribed Engineering/Technology disciplines.

3. Scientist-B

4. Assistant Manager (Finance)

Candidates should have 8 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field, including taxation, accounting, computer/software applications, Tally/QuickBooks, online returns and payroll management.
5. Administrative Assistant
Candidates should have a First Class Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent along with working knowledge of computers.
The post requires a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies, along with a skill test based on noting and drafting.
6. Scientific Assistant

7. Taxonomist
