Educational Qualification & Experience
- Librarian: Graduation with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Library Science, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Library Science, plus 3 years’ experience as a Library Attendant or higher in a recognized organization.
- Peon: Matriculation from a recognized board.
- Mali: Matriculation plus 3 years’ experience in gardening.
- Cook-cum-Attendant: Matriculation plus 3 years’ cooking experience in a government establishment or reputed hotel. Preference is given to candidates familiar with local customs and dialects of the deployment area.

Selection Process
- Librarian: Selection is based purely on marks scored in a written/competitive examination, as per Schedule-IV (Part-G) of the R&P Rules, 2015.
- Peon, Mali & Cook-cum-Attendant (Group-D posts): Candidates are shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for Document Verification/Evaluation. Merit is computed as:
- 85 marks — based on percentage scored in Matriculation (e.g., 50% in Matric = 42.5 marks)
- 15 marks — evaluation marks, awarded for factors such as belonging to a notified backward area, landless family status, non-employment certificate, disability, NCC/NSS/Scouts credentials, BPL status, widow/divorced/single woman status, single daughter/orphan status, and prior government/semi-government experience (up to 5 years)
The final merit list is drawn strictly on these combined marks.
